After getting home, Becky and I realized that the kids had learned a few things from each other. That night we got back to Utah we were eating dinner and I asked Zander if he wanted more lasagna. He looked at me and gave me the sign for "more". I was amazed that he had learned that all on his own from watching Cora. He also learned "nanny, nanny, nanny!" and "What?!" from Kimball. In return, Kimball learned to say "ewe, ewe, ewe!" at everything like Zander does.
Dad took us up to Grandpa's for a four wheeling ride. Zander had fun riding in the razor with me--he held on for dear life until I told him he could let go. He also fell asleep halfway through the ride. It was a gorgeous trail with lots of beautiful scenery.
Zander, Kimball, and Cora did a lot of jumping on the trampoline with the sprinklers running. They also loved to play with Lucas, and inside Grandma's closet. (somehow I missed Cora in all of these pictures)
We went to Buhl to see the sturgeon and get ice cream at the Cloverleaf Creamery. It was pretty good ice cream, but we got dumped on with rain within seconds before we could finish eating.
"Ewe, ewe, ewe!" (Zander flicked wet moss on his arm and was grossed out by it)
We had a picnic at the cemetery, fed the ducks and geese, played on the playground, and of course, Zander had to find the only mud puddle and jump right in.
We had a great time, I'm SOOOOO glad you made the trip with your newborn!!! I needed the baby snuggles. :)
