Zander: Mom! Come look, I found an animal!" Meanwhile I'm over working in the garden thinking it's just a bug or something. I get up and walk over to see what all the fuss is about, and sure enough, there is a giant rat laying on the ground. I was actually really excited to see it because I knew we had, had a rat in our yard. The neighbors have been talking about it for weeks and we knew it was nesting under the sandbox. Turns out, one of the backyard neighbors put poison out by their chicken coop after I told them about the rat. It worked! But for real, that is probably the biggest rat I've ever seen. It's head alone is the size of a large mouse.
