Here we go again to stay with grandma and grandpa in Twin Falls for a couple of weeks while Becky is in town. It's always nice to be able to get together with family especially cousins for these littles. Hannah and Ezra were pretty much inseparable; they played together so well the whole time. Actually, I was surprised at how few incidences we had with kids arguing and not getting along. Anyway, we went to visit Grandpa Pettingill, we visited with every sibling, had a girls day out shopping, and had Brad take us fishing on this trip. But it didn't end there. We came home to rest for a day and then headed back out to play at Cherry Hill and celebrate Dad's birthday. We spent an afternoon at the park playing games, running races, and eating good food, and ended the weekend with Grayson's baby blessing. It is during times like these that I look back at everything we did and an so grateful for my family. I am so blessed to have such close-knit siblings so we can enjoy each other's company and have lots of fun when we get together.
Grayson fell asleep like this in his chair.
He also got hit by flying chunk of ice that was kind of a freak accident.
Hannah fell asleep like this.
This is the quietest I have ever seen my kids as they wait for the sacrament to be passed. It has been quit a change to having the sacrament in our home instead of going to church, and it's going to be quite a change going back to church when we are able to full time. But what a blessing it is to be able to still worship and partake of the sacrament when we are not permitted to attend church.
We got up at 5:30 am to go fishing before our girl's day shopping. Brad took us to Crystal Lake down in the canyon. What a beautiful morning! We didn't get one bite, but we sure had fun. Zander was a natural at casting his line. Lucas was all over the place, and Hannah was timid, but enjoyed it too. Kimball had a hard time getting his pole to work for some reason, it was always one thing after another where he couldn't get his line out, the bait would be eaten off, it would get caught on something, or the whole reel fell off his pole, but he was so eager to share his knowledge and help with everyone else who was just learning to fish including me. We all wished someone would have caught something, but we did see some ducks and muskrats swimming around.
Grayson is all ready for Cherry Hill!
Happy Birthday Dad!
