My caboose is five! He has been waiting for this day for a loooong time so he can finally start kindergarten. I had to break the bad news that he can't start for a few more months; that it's not on his birthday that he gets to go to school.
Grayson, you are the sweetest most loving and caring little boy. You have a smile a mile wide and a keen sense of humor. You always question things and ask why about anything you can think of. You melt us with your long, drawn out goodbyes and goodnights that go one for 20 minutes as you repeat everything five times before you are satisfied. You tell me every night that I am the best mom in the world and on the planet and in the galaxy. That means the world to me. I love your big heart and your big hugs and the seldom kisses I get from you. We are glad to call you ours. We love you, Happy Birthday!!
Party time! Grayson invited all of his primary class and one neighbor who is not a member of our church to his candy themed birthday party. The older boys insisted on joining the party. I told them they could help out, but they got too engrossed in the games, haha. We had lots of candy and fruit and instead of doing another cake I did cake pops. We had a few guessing jars full of candy, and they played Duck, Duck, Goose for a good half hour, Bark Doggie Bark, musical squares, and of course we had to have a piñata! I didn't get too many pictures because I was in charge of all the games and keeping the older boys in line.
