We started another big project at the Elba cabin Memorial Day weekend. I actually look forward to working with my family every year. I brought my hat and work gloves with me. Brad planned out the new wall that we started building on the backside of the cabin. We got about half way done minus the stairs that need to be put in. The kids played outside adding to their forts and driving the the four wheelers around. We played games and enjoyed each other's company. We also had a graduation party for Tyson and Devin. We went skeet shooting and Joseph wrote a poem about Devin that Trish read aloud to everyone. Joseph couldn't make it; he took Quentin to Las Vegas for a basketball camp. Tyson decided last minute not to come either. Can't say I wasn't disappointed, but we had fun nonetheless. We also took up our new gel guns so the kids could have wars in the pasture. I think they used up around 75,000 bullets, lol.
Monday we went on an adult ride with some of Sally's family, Wade and Vernae, and Adam and Lynnette also came up. There was still a lot of snow in the mountains so we didn't get too far on our trail. We went up towards Logger Springs in the City of Rocks.
