Hannah has been talking nonstop about her birthday since last year. She was SO excited to get baptized on her birthday, but then Stephen's niece threw a wrench in our plans and decided to get married on Hannah's birthday. So to make up for it Elizabeth asked Hannah to be her flower girl for their ring ceremony.
We had Hannah's party at Classic Fun Center with all her cute friends. we have:
Indie, Sophie, Macklee, Hannah, Evelynn, Charley, and Maggie
Happy 8th Birthday to our favorite daughter! Hannah, you are so beautiful, and kind, and full of life. You have a cute smile, love to snuggle stuffed animals, and play with your little brother. You love life and like to be outside riding your bike, roller blading, or hanging out with all your friends. You are clever, and such an amazing person. We are lucky to have you in our family; we love you!
After the wedding ceremony we had Hannah's birthday at the park before heading to the reception venue for the ring ceremony. Apparently she almost was not going to be the flower girl. She refused saying the basket she had to use was NOT a real basket, but Elizabeth was able to calm her and talk her into doing it. Hannah did a great job despite the fact that she was really nervous all day about the whole thing. She followed Elizabeth and her groom all over the place. She's really attached to Elizabeth.
I have to give a shout out to Elizabeth and Jordan. They have been so patient and loving with Hannah and making sure they didn't steal the whole spotlight from her birthday. Elizabeth played her guitar and sang Happy Birthday to Hannah and gave her a gift to open at her reception. I was so touched by her love for Hannah and for them both the make her feel special on her special birthday. Hannah will be baptized next month.
