Update

Life has been pretty pleasant the past few weeks. Zander has been playing well with Lucas, and Lucas has been sleeping longer during the night, so I'm slowly getting some energy back from all those long, sleepless nights of constantly feeding him. Stephen has been busy at work, and it's only getting busier since it's the end of the fiscal year this month. His last few trips out of town were postponed until further notice (which will probably be in October) and I'm glad because I struggle having him gone so much.

Zander loves his daddy so much; he pretend talks to him on the phone all day long while he's at work, he plays in his ties and shoes, and shouts "Daddy, where are you?" all through the house until daddy comes home. He loves it when daddy tucks him in at night, and will usually request him over me.

Zander likes to talk and tell us stories; he still loves to help me clean the house--especially vacuuming. He has also showed interest in going potty on the toilet, so we'll see how that goes. He is all boy. His favorite pastimes are smashing things and playing guns. He will turn anything into a gun, and knows how to play dead.

His latest thing to say is, "Wait!" any time he wants our attention for any reason, he holds up his hand in protest and yells wait until we listen to him. He still loves the cat, but I thinks it's more because he can get away with beating up on him without him fighting back. He still has a few babies he likes to take care of around the house when I'm busy with Lucas, and that's about all he'll play with in nursery are the baby dolls and stroller.

Lucas is three months old and all smiles. I love it! He has started laughing, but will usually only do it for me. He is kind of a mama's boy--he cries when dad holds him, and when I leave the house.

Lucas loves having his diaper changed. This is the time when I get the most laughs and coos out of him. I love to kiss and squish his squishy cheeks! He has filled out and doesn't look like he'll stop any time soon. He's starting to wear six month clothes already! He doesn't like to be left alone, and likes to watch his brother play in the living room.

I love my family and getting to stay home with my two boys. They always keep me on my toes!
