Christmas Part 2

Christmas Eve we sat down and read the story of the birth of Jesus then had the kids watch a short video of it just so they could understand a little better what was happening. Then we sent them on a scavenger hunt throughout the house in search of their present. They ended up being in our closet. Lucas has asked multiple times to go on another scavenger hunt he loved it so much. They all got new pajamas because they all needed them. Lucas made hot chocolate for Santa and they all set their stockings on the couch for the night.

 Christmas morning came and the boys sneaked upstairs to see what Santa left for them in their stockings. Stephen and I laid in bed listening to all their excitement. My favorite quote by Zander: "What? This is weird why would Santa give me tape?" Santa gave him his own scotch tape so he would stop getting into moms and using it all. Hannah got a doll and a stroller. She would not put it down to open her other gifts. in fact, she just pushed it all over the house while everyone else was opening presents then disappeared downstairs to watch tv all by herself. silly girl.
