Day Three
My favorite day. We went to Rainmaker Park and walked along a two mile path through the rainforest. We got to do it all by ourselves without a guide which I particularly liked. I wanted to explore things on my own. We crossed several suspension bridges, saw lots of cool wildlife, saw lots of waterfalls and even got to play in some of them! I could have spent hours in there if I could, but I had to stay with our group. Swimming in the water falls was really fun especially since we were already drenched in sweat mixed with the humidity.
That night we feasted on creatures of the ocean. We had crab, squid, octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, tuna, mahi-mahi, and chicken for those who don't like seafood. We had cooks that made us breakfast and dinner for two nights. This is what they prepared for us that night. Zander and Lucas both put a crab on their plates. Lucas didn't eat it, but ate shrimp, and Zander tried the crab and ate it and tried the octopus and liked that too. Then they ate chicken, haha! There was enough seafood to feed 50+ people. There were only 22 of us...who don't eat a lot of seafood.
