We spent the weekend in Elba as we usually do every year. This year we had Mom and Dad, Joseph's and Brad's families. It rained the whole weekend off and on per usual. Saturday we all got up and went straight outside to start sorting wood into burn piles and firewood piles. They were huge piles that took us half the day to sort and pile up. We chopped cedars, pulled fencing down, organized, planted a few trees, took a trip to the dump, and sawed more logs. It was a lot of work, but we had many hands. Brad found a litter of 6 kittens in the middle of the burn pile. good thing they were found! We saw the owl and her chick at the dump. The kids got to rebuild their forts, gather around the firepit, play games, eat snacks, and stay up way too late. They also went for a four wheeling ride.
Sunday we went to church where the kids say they were bored to tears during primary and Zander and Grady had to sit on the floor because there weren't enough chairs for everyone. They had a lot of visitors that weekend. Grayson made funny faces at Brad behind us during sacrament meeting. We sang a Christmas song as a closing song; I thought that was kinda funny.
