Devin invited us to attend the temple with him over the 4th of July weekend, so we spent the night at grandma and grandpa's and got up early to go to the Sagebrush Days parade in Buhl. That was one of the best parades we've ever been to. The kids got loads of candy--even chocolates. They also got toys thrown at them like balls, frisbees, sun glasses, and even beanie babies! The weather was perfect. we saw some old airplane fly overhead, were given popsicles, and of course, we couldn't leave Buhl without stopping by Cloverleaf for some ice cream.
We shot off some of our own fireworks in the driveway until it was tie to go to the CSI firework show. I even got mom to come with me. We ate snacks and huddled together under lots of blankets. It was a fun day.
