Bear Lake

Stephen and I got to spend a few days in Bear Lake last week with his family. We all stayed in a large cabin and spent the majority of our days on the water in Loren's boat. I just want to thank those family members who provided it all for us to enjoy and for the much needed weekend getaway.

Literally, all we did was tube or ride in the boat so there's not too much to say here. We had so much fun even though I couldn't get to go on the tube or anything else except ride in the boat and take pictures. By the end of the last day it started raining pretty good while we were on the lake so the water got really choppy making the boat ride super bumpy, which in turn made my stomach upset and the little resident inside my tummy unhappy, so we had to get off and take a break.

We got to Bear Lake going through Evenston, WY instead of the usual Logan Canyon way which I've never done before, so we drove through Wyoming, slept in Idaho, and played in Utah. Some of the pics are blurry because I took them on a speeding boat, but I love some of the expresions of those riding the tube!

As of Late

This little boy loves to party in my belly, and he does it all night long. I will admit that it gets a little annoying at times especially when I'm trying to sleep. But last week I was settling down to go to sleep, and surprisingly fell asleep fairly quickly. However, I woke up in the middle of the night with a jolt because I felt comfortable; a little too comfortable.....like I couldn't feel the baby moving and it really didn't feel like I had a baby inside me. I was that comfortable. I started to cry because it scared me; I had never felt like that before, so I said a little prayer to feel him move so I could go back to sleep in peace. After this experience I will never complain about how annoying it gets when baby is kicking me! That was such an awful feeling. I also had a doctors appointment last week and boy is he growing. He and I are super healthy and I just can't wait to meet him!

Stephen plays basketball every Tuesday night at the church. He came home this time holding out his arm telling me he thought he broke it. He was trying to save a ball from going out of bounds and hit his arm on the corner of the brick wall. It was bruised and really swollen so I had him ice it and go to bed. Having had experience with a broken bone I told him it was highly unlikely he broke it and that it was just severely bruised. He couldn't rotate, move or, lift his arm hardly at all, but it was looking better the next morning. So far its healed pretty well, so no doctors visit for him.

Hooray, I am officially done working! I had a trainee with me all week so it made it a whole lot easier for me to just tell someone what to do instead of having to do the actual work myself. My last day of work was yesterday and boy am I glad. by the end of my shift I could hardly walk with those heavy buckets of water. Now I get to stay at home and work on putting the nursery together and decorating the bedrooms.

24 Weeks!
