Dear Lucas, you have one of the most contagious smiles and laugh. You have the gift of making people laugh and it is adorable. I love the way you look at things and use your imagination to make it into something to smile or laugh about. You are a "glass half full" kind of person who sees the positive side to everything. You have a larger than life personality which makes it easy for people to like you and want to be around you. Happy Birthday my beautiful red headed, joke loving, kind hearted son.

More Catch-Up
We had a fun morning trip to Costco today. The kids were awesome and so cute with each other. I wish most days were like this, but because they're not, days like this are extra special.
Memorial Day Weekend
Since I couldn't really go out and do anything because of my foot (I was still in my boot) we decided to do have a "Yes" Day were the kids got to choose four things they wanted to do (within reason) and that's what we did for that day. We started off with a coloring contest with two pictures that they got to print off of the computer. We don't usually let them print coloring pages let alone two very often. So they were excited about that. Then they got to have McDonalds for lunch and take a little break. After that we went to the nature park to feed ducks and ride bikes. We even found a huge pelican in the pond! And to top it all off we made a big fort and got to eat donuts, popcorn, candy, suckers, and drink pop for dinner while we watched "The Greatest Showman". It really was a fun day, and they kids were so happy.
On Memorial Day I took Hannah and Grayson to the splash pad; Zander and Lucas weren't able to come, and we ended the day with a nice family dinner out on the deck.
April and May Catch-Up
April and May whizzed by so fast. There seemed to be a lot going on, but the most prominent things that happened were my two surgeries. First, I had lasik done at the beginning of April and then I had surgery on my foot towards the end of April. I have been bed and house bound for most of April and all of May for recovery. And I'm happy to report that recovery is going well!
