Zander's Winter Tumbling Showcase

Zander has been doing so well in his tumbling class, and looks forward to going every week. He is the youngest in his class by a year, but he is up at the top of his class as far as talent. He's really improved in his strength; especially upper arm strength. He's been working head and handstands, back bridges, cartwheels, and all sorts of different summersaults. The only thing he needs to work on is his bridge. He is so sociable and makes friends with everyone very easily. We like his teacher, and can't wait to see what else he learns in the coming year.

 Here's his cute little class
Hannah was looking really cute too, so....tada!

Prepping for Christmas

We've had a bit of a slow week this week and sicknesses going around, so today we got out what little Christmas decor we have to decorate the house for Christmas. The boys had fun discovering what we had in each box, as did I since I never remember what I have.

This little girl has been sick with a severe cold this week. She won't hardly eat, sleep, sit, or lay down. All she wants is to snuggle mommy while I hold her. I'm not complaining about that part, but we have not slept for the past three nights though.

Thanksgiving

We stopped by the hospital on our way to Twin for Thanksgiving to visit Grandpa Pettingill. He has been waiting to meet Hannah and hear the story of how she got her name. It was so good to see him, and see him interact with Hannah and boys. He was so sweet and gentle with Hannah talking to her and rocking her. He looked so frail and old from the last time I had seen him. We weren't there for very long, but before we left I gave Grandpa a hug and Zander asked if he could give him a hug too. Grandpa really liked that.

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Joseph and Adam's families this year. The kids had fun playing together in the basement, and Charity brought games for the adults to play after we ate. Dad made three different flavors of ice cream, yummmm!!!

Zander Turns 4

Zander's birthday fell on the day before Thanksgiving this year, so he decided he wanted to celebrate it with grandma and grandpa Pettingill in Twin falls since we were going there for Thanksgiving anyway. He asked for a Star Wars themed birthday with Anakin's light saber for the cake. His favorite gift was his Star Wars legos that he had been talking about for months.

Happy Birthday buddy; we love you!
