We finally got the pool out in the backyard! The kids are stoked. Summer is officially here. Grayson jumped in and immediately jumped out because it was too cold, haha.

Layton Temple Open House
We got to take the kids to the Layton temple this morning. It was so beautiful! We had a rocky start with Lucas refusing to go and fights breaking out in the car on the way there. But once we were inside the kids just loved it. They were reverent and asked questions. It was just such a neat experience. We sat in the sealing room and that is where I felt it. the spirit was so strong and getting to explain to the kids how we get sealed or married in the temple was a neat experience for me. The artwork and stained glass with cherry blossoms were all amazing to look at. I love the temple.
Memorial Day Weekend in Elba Part 2
We went on a ride...somewhere. I'm not sure where we went, but it wasn't the place we wanted to go because the farmers gated off the canyon, so we went down some really dusty roads. It was hot, and did I mention dusty? We saw an eagle's nest, tent caterpillars, and some pretty flowers in bloom. There were cows, gophers, and voles all over the place too. We ended our weekend with smores.
Memorial Day Weekend in Elba Part 1
Another fun filled weekend at the cabin in the books. This year's project was building a retaining wall. The boys worked really hard on it while the kids were busy building their forts in the pasture. We also had Savannah's and Halle's graduation party. I just love my family! This is always the best part of these weekends is working together, and playing even harder when the work is done.
