Lucas Turned One!

"Here you go Lucas, mmmmmm!" I love that Zander tried to feed him....
And then eat Lucas's cake himself, lol

I love me some Lucas! This boy is so sweet and cuddly. He has no interest in walking right now, but is like The Flash on his knees--he's super fast. He copies and mimics everything Zander does, He weighed in at 21.7 lbs at his check-up last week and 29 inches tall, Lucas is the king of tantrum throwing when things don't go his way, He loves to laugh, and he loves to dance to anything--even if you're just singing he'll start to bob up and down. He likes to play with balls and cars, and snuggle with his turtle when he goes to bed. He is very sensitive to noise--he likes it on the quiet side, Lucas likes it when mom holds him, he loves bananas and Cheetos, and being chased up the stairs. We love our Lucas to pieces and are so glad he is a part of our family. Happy Birthday Lucas!

My Goofballs

Zander was somewhere around 18 months and Lucas is 11 months. They're a lot more alike than I thought!

Memorial Day Weekend 2016

We spend Memorial Day in Idaho this year. It was nice to have Stephen come with me this time. We had dinner at Adam and Lynnette's the night we got in. They made a yummy bison stew and Lynnette's Columbian cheese bread. Mmmmm! The next morning Mom and I ran a few errands while the boys went shooting in Devil's Corral. They all had a lot a fun. apparently Devin threw a pigeon and hit Lynnette in the leg. Then we and mom and dad went to Elba to see grandpa for the afternoon and have a steak. I took Stephen and Zander on a four wheeling ride up New Canyon. On the way up were fields of wildflowers--purple iris, yellow lupine, red penstamon, and blue bells. It was gorgeous! We also spied a beautiful spotted doe. She crossed the path right in front of me. On the way back we ran into a young moose. I let Stephen lead the way this time on the four wheeler while I drove with Zander in the razor. I was surprised to see that Stephen didn't stop to look at the moose. When we got back I asked him why he didn't stop. He said he thought is was just a weird looking donkey, haha! We had a blast. We also had dinner with the whole family Sunday night and breakfast Monday morning. That was pretty rare to eat two meals all together, but I loved it. There is nothing more important to me than my family. I love them!
Our view from the top of New Canyon. You can't see them very well, but those are all tiny blue bell flowers all over the ground.

This is the only picture I got at breakfast for some reason. Everyone was here, except we missed Becky!
