Happy Little Girl

Christmas 2017

Zander: 4 Lucas: 2 Hannah 4 months
There is nothing better than seeing the magic of Christmas work its way into our home on Christmas morning. Those boys were SO excited to see everything Santa had left for them and everyone else. Zander loved seeing all the new toys he and Lucas got, and Lucas loved eating all the candy Santa left in his stocking...and everyone else's.

Santa brought Stephen a new computer chair
I got Stephen a cup as a gag gift because he is always getting kicked and stopped on in the groin. The glasses are blue light filtered glasses to reduce stress on the eyes and prevent headaches from staring at a screen all day at work.

I love this next sequence of three photos. Zander was so excited to open this present, then he showed them to Hannah who got excited herself, and then he showed everyone else that they were "big" storm troopers.

Family Christmas Parties

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a visit to Uncle Loren's house for the Washburn family Christmas party. The boys were so excited to see him! Hannah and I were unable to go this year due to a cold I had, so we had to stay home and wrap presents. I was bummed I didn't get to go, but I had lost my voice and just wasn't up to leaving the house.

We went to Twin for the Pettingill family party as well. We were there just for a quick weekend then went home Christmas Eve so we could be home for Santa to find us. It snowed really hard the whole time we were there, so Zander and Lucas got to go outside and play in the snow. Zander built this snowman all by himself.

Lucky Stephen got this Star Wars shirt from his work party as part of a white elephant gift.

I got to reconnect with my cousin Alissa and friend Allie whom I haven't seen for the last five years, so we went out for dinner and had fun reminiscing. We forgot to take a photo though. After dinner we took the boys out to the South Hills to see the Christmas lights. They moved them from the house to a place right behind a gas station in Hansen for some reason. It was fun, but not the same as I remember it. It was snowing really hard while we were there, and the kids were in their pajamas because we didn't get out there until after 8:00 so they were cold, but they loved looking at all the lights. There wasn't a camel nor did they hand out candy canes, but it was a fun little trip.

Zander's Winter Tumbling Showcase

Zander has been doing so well in his tumbling class, and looks forward to going every week. He is the youngest in his class by a year, but he is up at the top of his class as far as talent. He's really improved in his strength; especially upper arm strength. He's been working head and handstands, back bridges, cartwheels, and all sorts of different summersaults. The only thing he needs to work on is his bridge. He is so sociable and makes friends with everyone very easily. We like his teacher, and can't wait to see what else he learns in the coming year.

 Here's his cute little class
Hannah was looking really cute too, so....tada!

Prepping for Christmas

We've had a bit of a slow week this week and sicknesses going around, so today we got out what little Christmas decor we have to decorate the house for Christmas. The boys had fun discovering what we had in each box, as did I since I never remember what I have.

This little girl has been sick with a severe cold this week. She won't hardly eat, sleep, sit, or lay down. All she wants is to snuggle mommy while I hold her. I'm not complaining about that part, but we have not slept for the past three nights though.
