Zander Got Baptized

Zander got baptized on December 4th. It was a nice baptism although I feel like I missed most of it. We got to the stake center later than I wanted to, then Stephen forgot to grab another white shirt to change into, so I had to run back home and get it. We started as soon as I got there and I had to quickly take a couple of pictures before these two got into the water. Even though I was on the front row, I didn't really get to see Zander because all the kids had crowded around the font blocking my view, but Zander did great even though he was scared and nervous about it. I tried to get a family picture afterwards and that never pans out because there is always someone throwing a tantrum or not holding still, etc... but I love my family and I am so proud of Zander for his decision to be baptized and confirmed a member of the Church and Jesus Christ.

Zander Turned 8!

Zander, you are well on your way to having a successful and fulfilling life. You are compassionate, funny, driven, and a born leader. You are a good example to your siblings who look up to you, and try your best to be the kind of person that would make your dad and I proud. We love you!

This year we took Zander's party to Urban Air Adventure Park with a handful of friends and cousins. He has some great friends. Zander asked for a Kylo Ren lightsaber cake. The boys had a blast and I was also grateful Aunt Rachel was there to help out and take a few pictures.

On Zander's actual birthday Dad made some homemade eclairs for his cake. He got showered with lots of love and gifts. Some of his favorite things he got were his scriptures, fuse beads, Grogu squishmallow, and his own radio/cd player. He was afraid of the sparklers so Dad had to hold his cake, haha!

My Kids Are Awesome

Hannah built me a temple out of legos.
No, this is not blood, lol. Grayson spilled rootbeer syrup all over the counter, and started lapping it up.

Cheeeeeeeeeese!

November Craft Day

I wish we were better at getting more pictures of everything we did. It was so much fun! Becky flew in for a whole week, and Mom and Charity and Savannah came to stay with me. We made journals out of old books, shopped, ate good food, laughed, made Santa and winter bird clay ornaments, and hot chocolate bombs. We stayed up way too late, but it was all worth it. I look forward to this time of year to spend time with my family.

I love this sequence of photos. Grayson loves his grandma, and Grandma loves him.

I love this bunch!
